Rancho Encanto is a development built by Singer Housing Company (which later became Estes Homes) from the late 1970s into the early 1980s.
The original model homes were located at the corner of Bell Road and North 29th Avenue. They were presented in the “showcase” manner popular at the time, with a park-like lawn where the street would ordinarily be situated. The models first opened in 1975, and through the years models were removed (and sometimes replaced) when plans were discontinued. Between 1982 and 1984 the showcase was dismantled and a shopping center was built in its place.
The floorplans, price list and features list below date from 1977.
